Here are a few things you should know before you start your search for your new condo or townhome.
- Every property listed for sale with a Real Estate company is represented by the agent with that company. They are paid by the sellers and will be looking out for their best interest… not yours. This is likely the biggest purchase of your life, you should have your own agent… one looking out for you and your best interest.
- What about the costs? There are no costs! As a buyer, you won’t pay us a thing to help you find your home and represent you in the purchase. We are paid from the company that represents the seller. It won’t cost you a penny!
- As your agent we will help you find your new home, negotiate the lowest price as well as the many other terms of the contract, arrange a home warranty, a home inspection and title insurance.
- When buying a condo or townhomes you will become part of a Homeowner’s Association. There will be separate fees associated with this association. there are additional and specific details that you need to understand like The Association’s covenants, codes, restrictions and By-laws. You should have an agent that understands those details and what they mean to you. Don’t get caught with surprises after you’ve already made your purchase.
